M-1 Visa for Foreign Students
Foreign Students are welcome at Anderson Aviation. If you are able to understand and speak English, Anderson Aviation is able to assist with the procurement of your M-1 visa for the purpose of obtaining flight training. To become knowledgeable about the process it is suggested that you visit https://www.flightschoolcandidates.gov for more information, including that pertaining to the Alien Flight Student Program. Also, http://travel.state.gov addresses a number of M-1 visa issues.
At Anderson Aviation, costs of Flight hours, Ground instruction and Books/Supplies are identical for foreign students to those that are charged to U.S. citizens. A local rental car company offers special rates of around $ 30.00 per day for a compact car rental. Short term living accommodations in the airport area may be found by an internet search of Honolulu Airport Area Hotels, some of which offer rates for about $ 1400.00 monthly rental.
