First Step
Before You Start
  • Make an appointment with one of our flight instructors.
  • Get a valid aviation medical exam
  • If needed, apply for tuition financing
  • Purchase the Pilot Kit. It includes everything needed to begin class. $200 to $300

Second Step
Private Pilot Course

Meets Enrollment Requirements

  • Minimum age - 17 upon completion
  • Read, Speak, and Understand English
  • Student /3rd Class Medical

FAR PART 141 Course

  • 35 Hours of Ground Training
  • 35 Hours of Flight Training
  • 20 Hours from Authorize by Instructor
  • 5 Hours Solo
  • Pass Written and Practical Test

FAR PART 61 Course

  • 35 Hours of Ground Training
  • 40 Hours of Flight Training
  • 20 Hours from Authorize by Instructor
  • 10 Hours Solo
  • Pass Written and Practical Test

Instrument Pilot Course

Meets Enrollment Requirements

  • Must hold a Private Pilot Certificate
  • If you want take Instrument & Commercial programs, you don't need take this course.
  • Read, Speak, and Understand English
  • Valid 3rd Class Medical or Higher (if VA must be 2nd class medical)

FAR PART 141 Course

  • 30 Hours of Ground Training
  • 35 Hours of Flight Training
  • Pass Written and Practical Test

FAR PART 61 Course

  • 20 Hours of Ground Training
  • 40 Hours of Flight Training
  • 15 Hours from Authorize by Instructor
  • Pass Written and Practical Test

Third Step
Commercial Pilot Course w/ Instrument

Meets Enrollment Requirements

  • Must hold a Private Pilot Certificate. Must hold An Instrument Rating or be concurrently enrolled in the Instrument and Commercial program.
  • Read, Speak, and Understand English
  • Valid 3rd Class Medical or Higher (if VA must be 2nd class medical)

  • 35 Hours of Ground Training
  • 55 Hours of Dual
  • 65 Hours Solo
  • Pass Written and Practical Test

FAR PART 61 Course

  • 250 Hours of Flight Training
  • Pass Written and Practical Test
